Durch das Update sind wir auf ein anderes Style (so wird das optische Aussehen des Forums bezeichnet) umgezogen, welches sich zuk\u00fcnftig leichter warten l\u00e4sst. Das neue Style bringt auch endlich die langersehnte Responsivit\u00e4t mit sich, also das Anpassen des Forums an verschiedene Browser- und Ger\u00e4tegr\u00f6\u00dfen. Ihr k\u00f6nnt jetzt also auch leichter von unterwegs Themen lesen und Beitr\u00e4ge bearbeiten.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel (aka\u00a0HerrVonMoria) war auch so gut f\u00fcr das neue Style direkt eine Designvorlage und die neuen Icons und Logos zu entwerfen. Ohne Murren und Knurren hat er sich sofort daran gesetzt, nachdem ich ihn Donnerstag\u00a0\u00fcberfallartig darum gebeten habe! Vielen vielen Dank daf\u00fcr, das war eine riesen Leistung!\u00a0Pers\u00f6nlich finde ich sein Design sehr gelungen!<\/p>\n<p>Ein so gro\u00dfes Update bringt nat\u00fcrlich auch ein paar Kosten mit. Unsere Datenbank war mittlerweile kaum noch wartbar. Sie war in den letzten Jahren so gewachsen, dass wir ohne fremde Hilfe die Datenbank nicht mehr h\u00e4tten austauschen k\u00f6nnen. Auch das Update ist in den letzten 10 Tagen zweimal genau deswegen gescheitert. Am Mittwoch haben wir uns dann entschlossen \u00e4ltere Themen und Beitr\u00e4ge zu l\u00f6schen. Dabei sind wir nach folgenden zwei Regeln vorgegangen:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Themen, in die seit mindestens 2 Jahren nicht mehr geschrieben wurde<\/li>\n<li>Themen, die seit mindestens 2 Jahren nicht mehr gelesen wurden<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Nur wenn beide Regeln gegolten haben, wurde ein Thema gel\u00f6scht. Das Forum wurde dabei um ca. 230.000 Beitr\u00e4ge entschlackt. Das klingt erst einmal viel, aber gerade in alten Themen werden viele Bilder nicht mehr angezeigt, da die Accounts zu den Bildern oder die Bilderhoster selber nicht mehr existieren. Wir haben im Prinzip die Umzugskartons aus unserem Keller weggeworfen, die seit mindestens 2 Jahren unausgepackt herumstanden.
